Steve Chidester, newly appointed Head of International Marketing at Zuken, has written an article that deals, among other things, with electrical design. The bottom line is that this market is still underserved and that there are interesting opportunities for EDA companies. The market has long been associated with the PCB design market, and Mentor Graphics has for years offered tools for electrical design, but only lately have systems become so integrated and at the same time dispersed within a vehicle or a building, for example, to warrant higher demand by designers.
