Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), will hold its first User Forum on Thursday, June 17, at DAC 2010 in Anaheim, California. Tanner EDA has a “less is more” approach to tool design, believing that engineers need the right mix of top-notch features and functionality, squarely aligned with requirements, to accelerate the design process. This concept of elegant, efficient solutions – achieving productivity gains with just the right, and only the right, tools -- is the focus of the event, which brings together current and prospective customers from Tanner EDA’s 5,000-strong user base to exchange ideas and techniques.

The User Forum will run from 8:30 am until 11:00am in Room 202A at the Anaheim Convention Center, allowing attendees time to attend the DAC Thursday Keynote address. The agenda will include ample time for discussion between clients and between clients and Tanner EDA, and includes a light breakfast and networking followed by:

• Greg Lebsack, Tanner EDA’s president, giving a Tanner EDA business overview
• Customer presentation: V Semiconductor (V Semi), which specializes in custom, deep sub-micron IC design, discussing Driving Analog Innovation at Deep Submicron Scale
• Customer presentation: FLIR Systems, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of thermal imaging and stabilized camera systems for a wide variety of thermography and imaging applications, presenting on Driving Analog Innovation in Image Sensors
• Mass Sivilotti, Chief Scientist, Tanner Research, sharing Tanner EDA Technology Trends and Roadmap
