In December GABEonEDA contacted EDA tools vendors and standards organizations and asked them to submit their views on the upcoming year. We received twenty two contributions by the deadline. They are being published in their original form, a few every day, beginning with today and continuing until they are all published.

This method was chosen in order to avoid clogging the input queue of those readers that have RSS feed from this web site. Order of publication in no way is a reflection on the merits of the contributions. In addition, an overall article, written by Gabe Moretti, that provides a forecast for the year produced from this input and independent financial analysis, will be published on February 15th in the EDAcafe newsletter published by IBS Systems.
