S2C, the organizer of the SoCIP show announced that the dates for the annual SoCIP show have been set for Shanghai, May 22, 2012 and Beijing, May 24, 2012. The annual SoCIP show has evolved into one of the leading SoC/ASIC design shows in China.
The full day conference combines technical sessions and exhibitor demonstrations bringing the latest in world-wide SoC/ASIC design technology to China. Attendees can gain firsthand knowledge of the latest advances in SoC/ASIC technology by meeting directly with experts from over 15 different companies. Check the http://www.socip.org site for conference and registration information.
As in previous years, there will be half day roadshow versions of the show held in China including Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xian and Wuxi. These roadshows will be held in the fall of 2012.
Last October, we have just successfully held 8 half-day roadshow seminars in TianJin, ChengDu, ShenZhen, WuXi, SuZhou, HangZhou and ChangSha. We have presented Silicon IP technology from 12 companies and focused on two SoC/ASIC Prototyping technologies from SpringSoft and S2C. SpringSoft’s ProtoLink Probe Visualizer is an innovative prototype verification solution that dramatically increases design visibility and simplifies debug of off-the-shelf and custom-designed FPGA-based boards. S2C’s rapid SoC/ASIC Prototyping solution includes FPGA-based prototyping hardware and automation software, Prototype Ready™ IP, platforms, and accessories, and system-level design verification and acceleration. There were total of 200 attendees for the roadshow seminars.
The full day SoCIP 2011 conferences in May earlier this year attracted over 300 qualified attendees at the Shanghai and Beijing venues. The show included exhibits and presentations from the following IP and EDA vendors plus support from the media sponsors.
SoCIP Web Portal The http://www.socip.org website not only has information on future and past SoCIP conferences but also serves as a web portal in both English and Chinese for selected articles from industry leading sources including: SoCCentral, Gary Smith EDA, Gabe on EDA, EDA Confidential and TechBites.
